ANTI-FRAGILITY

A postulated antithesis for fragility where shocks or high-impact events can be beneficial. The Anti-fragility concept was developed by a former trader, former hedge fund manager, and professor Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Mr. Taleb was the one who coined the term "anti-fragility" due to thinking that the existing words used as the opposite of "fragility", which is "robustness," was inaccurate. For him, the Anti-fragility was way beyond robustness because it does not only withstand a shock but also improves after it.
