ACQUITTANCE
A document which exhibits that a debtor has been relieved from a debt obligation. Generally, an acquittance is given as a sign from the lender towards a debtor that the amount owed has already been repaid completely and that the lender is not anymore allowed to request further repayment on that particular debt.
