SWING OPTION
Contract in energy markets allowing the option holder to purchase a pre-selected commodity at a predetermined price while enjoying the flexibility in the amount purchased and paid. The agreement outlines the least and most energy a trader can obtain per day and per month, its costs, and the number of times in a month the holder can change the daily number of energy bought.
