STRATEGIC ASSET ALLOCATION
Investing technique which encompasses setting target allocation for different asset classes, and regularly rebalancing the portfolio back to the initial allocations when they deviate substantially from the original setting due to varying returns from the assets. Target allocations depend on several factors including the investor’s risk tolerance, time horizon, and investment objectives.
