SPOT EXCHANGE RATE
Spot exchange rate is also referred to as ‘benchmark rates’, ‘southright rates’, and ‘straightforward rates’. It is the exchange rate of the spot or the foreign-exchange contract upon immediate delivery. A buyer bases the price he is to pay in exchange for a foreign currency on the spot rates.
