SOSLP
Senior Loan Officer Opinion Survey on Bank Lending Practices (SOSLP) is a survey accomplished quarterly by 75 banks composed of 53 domestic and 23 foreign branches that is operated in the United States. The SOSLP obtains data on the reactions and opinions of officials regarding any policy changes made, possible future policy changes, and alterations on the supply and demands of a given product. The SOSLP is then discussed on the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting which occurs quarterly as well.
