MULTIPLIER
In Keynesian economic theory, a number that calculate the change in total income, as compared to placing capital deposits or investments that initially ignited the growth. Normally, it measures the additional effects of government spending on income, and can be computed as one divided by marginal propensity to save. This is real of most macroeconomic policy measures, because the real effect of the measure cannot be quantified by the outcome of the measure itself.
