LEGISLATIVE RISK
Changes in the legislation, enacted by the government, which could alter the business prospects of one or more corporations that affects the investment holding of that company. It occurs as an immediate effect of government action or by modifying the demand patterns of the company’s consumers. Also, it focuses with changes such as imposing requirements to give more benefits to employees or free trade agreements, which makes an industry less competitive compared to its foreign counterpart.
