JOB HUNTING EXPENSES
Costs that an individual incur while seeking for a job. In the United States, a person can subtract the expenses on his or her federal tax returns to lessen their total taxable income. Also called job search expenses, it can be deducted should an individual seek a job in the same line of work. Job hunting expenses include fees paid to employment and agencies, costs in preparing and mailing resumes, and travel expenses that is related to job hunting.
