COPPER
One of the first metals extracted and used by humans. With a burnt orange color, it is ductile, malleable, and an excellent conductor of electricity and heat. The metal is one of the most widely used metals today, specifically in industrial and technology applications. It is also used in creating alloys like brass and bronze. This base metal, carrying the symbol Cu and atomic number 29, oxidizes relatively quickly.
