BIRTH-DEATH RATIO
Data describing the net number of jobs generated from newly started and closed businesses within a given time period, normally associated with government-backed jobs reports. In the United States, the Bureau of Labor Statistics include the ratio in its monthly employment using a rolling average to know the monthly total based on historical averages over the past several years.
