BIF - BURUNDI FRANC
Currency abbreviation for the Burundi franc, the official currency of the Republic of Burundi. Presented with the symbol FBu, it is comprised of 100 centimes. Since the country introduced its own currency, the coins have not been issued in these denominations. The Banque de la Republique du Burundi (Ibanki ya Republika Y'UBurundi) regulates the currency.
