ANTICIPATORY BREACH
In the context of contract law, it is an action that displays an intention of a party to fail in fulfilling or performing its contractual to the other party. An anticipatory breach disregards the responsibility of the counterparty to do its requirements specified in the contract. By displaying such, the counter-party may conduct legal actions.
Also called as an "anticipatory repudiation."
