AGGREGATOR
A party integrated to the secondary mortgage market that buys mortgages, belonging to financial institutions, which will be then securitizes into a mortgage-backed securities (MBS). The aggregators earn their profit through buying individual mortgages at a lesser price and then sells the pooled MBS at a higher value.
