ADVOCACY ADVERTISING
The usage of marketing directed to support a specific cause or message. The advocacy advertising typically do not promote a product or service, unlike commercial advertising, but rather targeting the interest of a group or the public. The funds that supports the advocacy advertising usually comes from non-profit organizations, corporations, or private advocacy groups. Certain governments obliged organizations involved in advocacy advertising to be transparent on source of the fund.
